Basement Secondary Suite Transformation

At 30 Colonial Crescent, Sameni Interiors transformed an unfinished basement into a fully functional secondary unit, designed for both comfort and style.

Our work began with a complete build-out—new framing, wiring, plumbing, and drywall—followed by a carefully planned interior fit-out. The result is a bright, modern space that makes the most of every square foot.

The layout features a spacious one-bedroom unit with a three-piece bathroom including a bathtub, a full kitchenette with an island, and defined dining and living areas. Smart use of space was a key priority: we integrated built-in storage solutions, a custom TV unit, closets, and a generous storage area beneath the stairs.

For added convenience, we also created a stacked laundry room, making the suite completely self-sufficient.

The design is elevated through sleek finishes—black and grey faucets, cabinetry, hardware, and accessories—which create a contemporary, cohesive aesthetic. The result is a secondary unit that feels open, modern, and highly livable.
